Non-cheddar Mac & Cheese


  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 3 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 tsp Mavella Superfoods Veggie Boost
  • 1 tbsp Tapioca flour/starch
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg (optional)
  • 2 cups your favorite dried pasta


  1. Boil the pasta according to package instructions and set aside. Reserve a couple tbsp of pasta water.
  2. Preheat a skillet on low heat and add the milk, pumpkin puree, cream cheese and Mavella Superfoods Veggie Boost and stir until everything is combined.
  3. Add the tapioca flour/starch and mix well until creamy and “cheesy”.
  4. Toss the pasta into the sauce, if needed, add the reserved pasta water if needed to thin the sauce out.
  5. Serve warm with grated Parmesan and a couple of herbs if desired.
