Looks great in my smoothies and tastes as if it’s “great” nutrition!

Sample pack

My hoy like it and I like the content 😌

So refreshing

Love how easy it was to make! Also very refreshing!

My Favourite Kombucha

I have enjoyed every sip. Very yummy. Easy to mix. I LOVE IT 😍

So fun

This powder is so fun to add blue color and a hint of blueberry flavor to things! It works perfectly in drinks, and you can add the powder to food (like yogurt) to give it color and a little flavor. I don’t even taste the spirulina in it. This is a big bag and I can use this to add color to all sorts of things.

Very nice powder supplement

This is a good quality supplements with good quality ingredients. I like the color. The blue is a really nice Way to add color to smoothies or food and the ingredients are really healthful and helpful. I also like this to give my hermit crabs and gives them a little bit of supplement as well.

Sweet, tart, and blue!

Didn't know this powder could be this good. I ordered another item from this brand before that was a disappointment, but not this. This stuff is sweet, tart, and blue, so good! Sprinkle it on everything!

A healthy fun way to color food blue

This product is a lot of fun. Seeing people's reactions to blue bread, blue cookies, blue drinks, etc is really fun. Especially when you add a bit of acid to it to turn it purple in front of their eyes! It's not just fun either, it actually is a healthy product because of the spirulina and blueberry. Adds some good minerals and vitamins.Who doesn't need more fun and wonder in their lives? This is a cheap fun way to do it around a topic we all love, food. Kids in particular really enjoy this.

A combo of ingredients that many not only lower blood pressure, but adds antioxidants …

I’m trying to collect a stockpile of alternative and / or homeopathic supplements in leaf, liquid, capsule, tablet, and powder form. I haven't really heard much about blue spirulina and blue butterfly pea flower, but there’s always a lot to learn about its properties. The benefits of blueberries are no mystery to me. Not all supplements have FDA approval, nor does this one. This product is produced and packaged in Australia. The ingredient label simply states this is butterfly blue pea flower, blueberry, and blue spirulina. I'm finding, among other things, that it helps maintain one's blood pressure the combo provides antioxidants. It's best to do your own research on any supplement. It does have an expiration date and a lot number stamped on the label. This isn't my first experience with this brand. I do like the fact that it’s in a resealable bag. This is only a 100g bag of powder, but a serving is a single gram. The price, all things considered, is reasonable at under $20.

Healthy alternative to Blue Drinks and Smoothies

Homemade blue drinks and smoothies can be made healthier with this alternative. There was minimal aftertaste and it blended easily. The hues of the blue will be affected with whatever you will be blending it with. The first picture is with just water. The second picture is just right after blending it with monkfruit sugar. The third picture is after the monkfruit sugar being settled in, which looks similar to the first picture. With monkfruit sugar alone, you have an easy healthy low carb fruit drink that makes your kids intrigued and hopefully try, not knowing it's also good for them.

Pretty and delicious; a delight for kids

I was recently introduced to butterfly pea tea and how it has a lovely, natural blue hue to it. I was excited to try this because it was combined with blueberry. It's not just a little gimmick as it works as a healthier food coloring additive. This makes tasty beverages and is a seemingly healthy mix. While we don't have any young children in our house, I would imagine kids would love making their own bright blue drink or smoothie. It is a much better alternative for children than those cheap food dyes.

Very pleasant taste!

This Mavella All Things Blue spirulina powder really is blue! It has a pleasantly sweet taste, but not overbearing. You don't need a lot-- about a teaspoon-- to flavor and COLOR you food.It contains three blue food items:*Blue Butterfly Pea Flower*Blue Spirulina*BlueberriesI love that I can get some spirulina into my diet without tasting fish. This is a lovely flavor and color. It's a bit pricey, but then it's made in Australia. A little goes a long way so I'll likely reorder when I've consumed this small package.

Makes drinks fun

I like that this is blue superfoods. It had just a hint of blueberry but I did add a scoop to a 28 water bottle. The flavor may be small in the amount of water but the color was not. It's beautiful bright blue.I haven't add to a smoothie yet, I may use if do pancake, waffles or muffins. It will give a fun look.It has great health benefits. I've never used anything with Blue Spirulina or Butterfly Pea Flower. I've heard of Blue Spirulina but didn't know much about it. I like it's an antioxidant.I like it's low in sodium, carbs and sugar as I try and watch my intake on both.

Fine powder, smells and tastes like blueberries, spirulina is last ingredent

Smells great, like blueberries. The powder is very very fine, so be careful when you open it and close so it doesn't go everywhere. It is very blue.Taste is a mild berry flavour. You can’t taste the spirulina in it, which makes it easy to add to dishes without worrying about clashing flavours. The one thing is the labeling. On the front, “Blue Spirulina” is above the other two, and in a larger font. The items name is “Mavella Blue Spirulina Powder with Butterfly Pea Flower & Blueberry”. The image in the listing has BLUE SPIRULINA POWDER on the top of the package. Yet the algae is the last ingredient, not the first.I think the other two ingredients are good additions, blueberries for flavour and the flowers for the pH colour changing. But it is misleading that there is actually less spirulina in here than the other two, and there is no way of knowing how much they actually included. For the price, I think it is a bit much for a product that could possibly have only a tiny amount of the algae in it.

Tasty color rich, color changing drink!

Once at a very nice hotel I had some 'blue pea tea' with our breakfast that I loved. So when I saw this come up, I jumped on it! And I'm glad I did. This is a pretty small bag, just 100 grams of powder, but each drink only needs a small amount of this potent powder, 1 gram, per serving. In my picture here, I put a gram and a half into a cup of cool water, since it's a pretty large glass. I mixed it up with my frother, and then added ice. It mixed well, and it never settled out. I was surprised to see how strongly colored it was!Drinking it, it's mostly blueberry flavored, mixed with a gentle flower taste. It's really good.I was reading the bag while I was drinking it, and it suggested mixing in some lemon juice for a color changing effect. I got a slice of lemon, squeezed it in, and it slowly shifted from dark blue to a dark purple! My kids thought it was a neat effect, almost like a magic trick. I stirred it up and the entire drink turned a beautiful purple. Supposedly if you add more lemon juice it will go even lighter. I didn't add a picture here, I'll let you all buy it and see for yourself.I'll be buying more when this runs out, it's so good. $19 isn't bad when it's 70-100 servings, depending on how generous you scoop it out.

My daughter loves this!…

My girl is a fussy Easter and she loves adding this into her meals helping her to get all the probiotics & fibres she needs without even knowing! Perfect for them little ones who struggle to eat a lot of variety.

Perfect ingredients!

I’m like a little kid with this stuff! I sprinkle it every morning on my home-made granola – yum! It is exactly as described - just three powerful ingredients. Just be careful scooping as it can easily get all over the place.

Neat

"Packed in Australia from less than 10% Australian ingredients" but no further information on the label about where the product is made or where the rest of the ingredients come from. This powder is really neat and a lot of fun! It's kind of purple in the bag in powder form, but it gives whatever you add it to a tint of blue. The powder is very fine, so it dissolves easily, but it also explodes into a dust cloud right up your nostrils if you open the bag too vigorously, so be careful. The flavor is very subtle and sweet, with a hint of blueberry. It's really fun turning different drinks and dishes blue, and then purple if you add a bit of lemon. The effect and flavor is ideal in certain cocktails - my favorite is adding it to a gin fizz and using the lemon-juice-color-changing-effect as a neat party trick.

Energy Drink

A hydrating, energizing drink that’s both nutritious and healthy.
I'm personally not a fan of Kombucha flavour. It should have been a bit sweeter, and the flavor could have been a little stronger. Everyone has their own taste preferences.
But if you’re hustling, working from home, or running after little ones, this could be an Energy booster for you.

Butterfly pea tea

Lovely drink. Refreshing when made as an iced tea and also comforting as a warm drink. Love it. Will be trying out some recipes with it too. Purple creme brûlée? Oh yes.

Amazing

We incorporated this product as the centerpiece of our new Summer menu at the cafe, where it was used to create both a vibrant superfood smoothie and a nourishing bowl. Customers have responded positively, enjoying its naturally sweet flavor, which is smooth and not at all grassy. The product also contributes a beautiful color to our offerings, and it pairs exceptionally well with blueberries, enhancing the overall taste and appeal. Will be purchasing again.

Not kombucha, but I like it

Marvella's powdered kombucha product is convenient way to make a refreshing drink with benefits, but it is not the same as store-bought or homemade kombucha. It tastes different, but I like it regardless. The unique aspect of Marvella's product is the addition of Australian native plant ingredients, such as Lemon Aspen and Lemon Myrtle, which give a distinct flavor profile.I like it for the ease of use and potential benefits from the probiotics. I enjoyed the Lemon flavor and like to convenience to control the concentration of your drink.

Fantastic

I've added this to my wellness routine. It is AWESOME!! I love it.

Taste more like an electrolyte drink with probiotics.

This to me taste more like a lemon balm electrolyte drink. It does not take like kombucha. This mixed powder does not have carbonation. I make kombucha at home and I like the carbonation that a traditional kombucha drink has. To me this drink is like an electrolyte that is loaded with probiotics. I like it because it has kept me hydrated because I really don't like drinking plain water. Recommend. This product is made in Australia.

Mild candied lemon taste. 200 ml water = 6.76 ounces. The powder didn’t fully dissolve.

This lemon-flavored Mavella kombucha powder arrived in a resealable pouch. All ingredients are listed. The suggested use of 1 tsp powder mixed with 200 ml water (which is just 6.76 ounces) took me a while to find as it’s written just under the pouch seal (far above the typical spot in the nutrition information). At a 1 tsp serving this pouch contains 25 servings.I’ve enjoyed many brands and flavors of bottled Kombucha, but one of my favorites is a ginger lemonade, so this flavor profile sounded good to me.I weighed my water and went just over 200 ml, which is a small drink. I used still water as we don’t buy sparkling, and I missed the fizziness of bottled kombucha. The powder in each of the three drinks I’ve made never fully mixed; there were quite a few floating bits along with visible residue on my glass as I drank my drink, even with extra stirring. All I could taste was a mild, slightly candied lemon flavor. I couldn’t detect the turmeric, apple cider vinegar, or ginger. Monk fruit extract is the sweetener, so there was no aftertaste. I will drink the rest of the pouch and hope for benefits from the probiotics, but I wouldn’t reorder. The pouch I received in September 2024 was clearly marked “Best before 25 OCT 2025”. “Packed in Australia from less than 10% of Australian Ingredients.”
