No-Oats Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tbsp Mavella Superfoods Gut Boost
  • Toppings: sliced fruit of choice, cinnamon, nut butter, honey/ maple syrup, chopped walnuts, coconut, yogurt (or your favourite toppings!)
Method:
  1. Combine the walnuts, chia and flax seeds, milk and Mavella Superfoods Gut Boost in a blender and process but don’t smooth completely.
  2. Let sit at room temperature for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  3. Heat the porridge on the stove. You can mix in some of the toppings now or add them when serving.
  4. Serve when you reach the desired thickness and top with fruit, yoghurt, chopped walnuts, honey, or your favourite mix!
