Thing Mac & Cheese


  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 300g grated cheese (cheddar or gruyere work great)400g macaroni pasta
  • 1 tbsp Mavella Superfoods Veggie Boost
  • Sausages, english muffins or buns and spring onion as toppings.


  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, make the cheese sauce. Melt the butter in a skillet or saucepan, blend in the flour with a whisk continuously. Pour in the milk and stir well.
  3. Cook for about 5 minutes, continue stirring as the sauce thickens. Mix in Mavella Superfoods Veggie Boost until dissolved, then add the cheese gradually, stirring non-stop.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix until well distributed.5.You can decorate your plate with a bun and a couple of sausages. Sprinkle with spring onion and serve.
