Thai Mango Sticky Rice


  • 1/2 cup short grain rice
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp organic sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp Mavella Superfoods Gut Boost
  • Toppings: Mango, polen, seeds, chia seeds, coconut flakes, etc.


  1. Soak the rice in water overnight. Rinse and drain.
  2. Steam the rice (either with a rice cooker or on the stove) for 20 minutes.
  3. Place the warm rice in a bowl and add 1/4 cup coconut milk and Mavella Superfoods Gut Boost. Mix well and let it soak up for 20 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, combine the remaining coconut milk with organic sugar, cornstarch and water and cook until slightly thickened.
  5. Peel and slice the mango. Serve the sticky rice with the toppings and drizzle the sauce. Enjoy!
