Ingredients
- 3/4 cup walnuts
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds
- 1 1/4 cup medjool dates
- 1/4 cup cacao powder
- 1 tbsp Mavella Superfoods Australian Grown - Beetroot
Method:
- Add the dates to the food processor and pulse until only small bits remain. Transfer to a small bowl and set aside.
- Place the walnuts and almonds in the food processor and process until ground.
- Add the cocoa powder and Mavella Superfoods Australian Grown Beetroot and pulse a couple of times until distributed.
- Add tiny handfuls of the processed dates and pulse until a dough forms.
- Press the mixture into a parchment lined cake pan/pyrex.
- Place in the refrigerator for about an hour before cutting into squares.
- You can drizzle with red glaze for a red velvet look!
