Mini Fruit Tarts


  • 12 shortbread tart shells
  • 300ml coconut milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup granulated sweetener of choice
  • 1 tsp agar agar powder
  • 2 tsp Mavella Superfoods Kombucha + Gut
  • Toppings: sliced mango + mint leaves.


  1. Make the custard by placing coconut milk, water, sweetener and agar agar in a saucepan. Cook on low heat for 10 minutes and bring to a simmer.
  2. Turn off the heat and let it cool. Mix in Mavella Superfoods Kombucha + Gut before pouring to tart shells.
  3. Place a dollop of custard into each shell. Arrange the sliced mango and mint on top. You can sprinkle with shredded coconut (optional)
