Christmas Soft Almond Cookies


Cookie dough:

  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 1/2 cups organic sugar
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract
  • 1 tsp Mavella Superfoods Gut Boost
  • 1/8 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • Bunch of almonds + food coloring dye


  1. In the bowl of a stand mixer, whisk the egg whites. Add the organic sugar gradually and whisk until combined. Stir in the almond extract and Mavella Superfoods Gut Boost.
  2. Slowly add the almond flour and baking powder. Divide into two smaller bowls (or as many as you like!) and add food coloring.
  3. Transfer into a pipping bag and pipe onto a lined baking tray. Top with a whole almond on each one.
  4. Place in the refrigerator for a few minutes to help set, then bake for 10-12 minutes.
